I've had this posted up at FFN for a while now, but I don't really think it's the right place for it. It's a small one-shot revolving around chapter 7 of a book called The Chrysalids by John Wyndham. My whole english class had to read it as an assignment last year and personally I found it extremely boring. One of the components of the assignment was to rewrite chapter 7 of the book except this time from Harriets point of view. I wrote this and I quite liked it because it seemed to give a lot more flavour to what is generally, in my opinion, a very dry book. By all means the story line is quite fascinating, but the style of writing used makes it hard to get into, but I guess that was just the style of the time. So I would appreciate it if you would take a look and tell me what you think.

On a different note, I had a look at my layout on the computers a school last week and I noticed that the background only took up a portion of the screen instead of the whole screen like it's meant to. I was just wondering what it looks like to you : whole screen or just part of. I would appreciate it if you would let me know.

And finally, I am currently in the process of writing the last couple of paragraphs of chapter 6 of Trust Me and editing chapter 5 so that I can post it. I have a policy in which I make sure that I have written at least one more chapter before posting the current chapter so that I never get overly behind in updating my fics. However it also means that the delay between updates in longer than I would like. On the other hand, it is currently school holidays and I have been left with a mountain of free time to write away to y hearts content so I hoping to get a lot done.

Welcome to my journal! This is where I am going to post everything you'd ever want to know about my fanfiction, including story update, the status of each individual chapter, when I have writer's block, reasons why I might not be able to post for a length of time, my upcoming works and most importantly the fics themselves.
